David Laing, Chairman and Director

Mr. Laing is a mining executive and engineer with 40 years of experience in mining operations, mine construction projects, engineering studies, managing engineering and consulting groups, mining finance, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, turnarounds, due-diligence reviews, corporate development, and company building. He has held executive positions in both precious and base metals. While Endeavour Financial transitioned to Endeavour Mining, David acted as a key player determining and implementing the development strategy. He was also the COO at Equinox Gold Corp, True Gold Mining Inc., and Quintana Resources. Additionally, he has held senior positions at Standard Bank, technical consulting at MRDI, and various roles at Billiton and Royal Dutch Shell’s mining business. Currently, David is the Chairman of Fortuna Silver Mines and a Director of Northern Dynasty Minerals, Blackrock Silver Corp and Amarillo Gold Corp.

Mr. Laing has a BSc Mining Engineering (Honours) from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College at the University of London, England.

Alan Edwards, Interim CEO and Director

Alan Edwards has more than 35 years of operations and executive mining industry experience. In the course of his career, he has overseen the development and operations of world class base and precious metals deposits in the Americas and Indonesia. Mr. Edwards is currently the President of AE Resources Corp., an Arizona-based company. He formerly led Oracle Mining Corporation (CEO), Copper One Inc. (President and CEO), Frontera Copper Corporation (CEO) and Apex Silver Corporation (COO). Currently, Mr. Edwards serves as the Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Tonogold Resources, Inc. He also acts as Non-Executive Director for Americas Gold and Silver Corporation, Entrée Resources Ltd., and Orvana Minerals Corp. Mr. Edwards has previously held the positions of Non-Executive Chair of the Board for Mason Resources Corp. (acquired by Hudbay Minerals Inc.), Rise Gold Corp., AQM Copper Inc. (acquired by Teck Resources Ltd.) and AuRico Gold Inc. Mr. Edwards began his career at Phelps Dodge Mining Corp. in Arizona.

He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mining Engineering and an MBA (Finance) from the University of Arizona.

Elaine Ellingham, Director

Ms. Ellingham is a mining executive and geologist with over 30 years of experience in the mining industry. She is a consultant providing geological and corporate finance advisory services to international clients. Ms. Ellingham spent eight years with the Toronto Stock Exchange, from 1997 to 2005, in a number of capacities including National Leader of Mining. She has a range of experience in mineral exploration, corporate development and investor relations for mining companies including Aurania Resources Ltd., IAMGOLD Corporation, Campbell Resources Inc., Rio Algom Exploration Inc. and St Joe Canada Inc. Ms. Ellingham is a former Director of Richmont Mines Inc. (acquired by Alamos in 2017) and acted as Richmont’s interim President and Chief Executive Officer in 2014. Currently, Ms. Ellingham is a Director of Alamos Gold Inc. and Almaden Minerals Ltd. and an advisor to Aston Bay.

Ms. Ellingham has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in geology and an MBA, all from the University of Toronto.

Mark Palmer

Mr. Palmer joins Elim Mining as the Tembo Capital LLC. board nominee. He is a mine finance executive with 26 years of experience in the financial industry and 12 years prior directly with mining companies in Australia. In 1994, Mr. Palmer joined NM Rothschild & Sons Limited in the London mining finance team assessing mines and projects globally. In 1997, he moved to the investment banking team at UBS to focus on global mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing in the mining sector. Mr. Palmer ran the EMEA mining team at UBS for 8 years. In 2014, he joined Canaccord Genuity as Vice Chairman responsible for the mining sector coverage, Mark joined Tembo Capital in 2015. Mr. Palmer currently sits on the board of Orion Minerals.

Mark Palmer has a B.Sc. in Mining Geology from University College Cardiff.

Thomas Boehlert

Mr. Boehlert joins Elim as the Resource Capital Funds (RCF) board nominee. He is a financial expert and has been a C-Suite executive at six different international public and private resource companies in the agribusiness, mining and energy sectors. Most recently, Mr. Boehlert served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Bunge Limited from 2017-2019. Prior to joining Bunge Limited, he was President, and Chief Executive Officer of First Nickel Inc. from 2011 to 2015 and Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Kinross Gold Corporation from 2006-2011. Mr. Boehlert previously worked as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Texas Genco in 2005, Direct Energy in 2004 and Sithe Energies Inc., from 2000- 2003. Prior to Sithe Energies, Mr. Boehlert was an infrastructure and energy project finance banker at Credit Suisse for 14 years. Mr. Boehlert served as a non-executive director of Harry Winston Diamond Corp. from 2009-2010 and currently also serves as Director of TMAC Resources where he is Chair on the Audit Committee.

Mr. Boehlert, ICD.D, has a BA in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University Bloomington and an MBA (Finance) from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Bob Cummings, Technical Advisor

Former Chief Geologist for ASARCO at the Sacaton Mine in the 70’s and 80’s.

Robert Cummings is an economic geologist with over 50 years of experience in the mineral industry. Early in his career he worked for Asarco Inc. in the western United States, Mexico, and Canada in base and precious metal exploration. Bob’s porphyry copper geology experience is extensive and includes being the senior geologist at the Sacaton mine from 1972 through 1981. He has always been focused on the application of geology to all aspects mine operations. In a similar position at the Mission mine Bob was responsible for major drilling programs and demonstrated problem-solving abilities in open pit and underground mine development and mine operations.

Bob has a bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering from Michigan Technological University. He did graduate work at the University of Nevada Reno and is a longtime member of the Arizona Geological Society.
