Paul Huet, Chairman and Director

Paul Andre Huet has over 30 years of career experience in the mining industry. He is well recognized for continually transforming, building value for shareholders, and producing positive cash flow for public and private organizations. Paul is a bilingual C-level executive with demonstrated expertise in launching, revitalizing, and leading multimillion dollar organizations to achieve tremendous growth. He is a unique and inspiring leader, who consistently demonstrates the qualities that foster an innovative and engaging company culture, and to persevere despite challenges and complex market conditions. Most recently, Mr. Huet was President/CEO and Director of Klondex Mines from 2012 – 2018, until the acquisition by Hecla Mining Company. Paul has a strong command of capital markets and has served in all levels of engineering and operations of Mining. Paul presently serves on the inaugural Board of 1911 Gold Corporation (Havilah), and RNC Minerals, and has served on several non-profit and publicly-traded company boards.

Mr. Huet graduated with Honors from the Mining Engineering Technology program at Haileybury School of Mines in Ontario, and successfully completed the Stanford Executive program at the Stanford School of business. In 2013 Mr. Huet was nominated for the Premier’s Award in Ontario for outstanding College graduates; he is currently a member of OACETT as an applied Science Technologist and an Accredited Director.

John Antwi, President and Director

John Antwi is a mining executive with over 26 years of experience in Mine Technical and Financial Services with a knack for identifying the potential of geologic assets. He is a value driver with expertise in achieving strategic, operational, and financial goals for junior, mid-tier, and senior mining production companies. John is an innovative senior executive with expertise in implementing portfolio optimization initiatives and recommending project development opportunities to support corporate strategic objectives. He began his career by rendering geological services for gold mining company in Africa and progressed to top performing executive overseeing growth initiatives, mergers and acquisitions with multi-billion-dollar organizations in the United States and Canada. Until the acquisition of Klondex Mines by Hecla, John was the Senior Vice President for Corporate Development and Planning for Klondex.
John currently serves on the American Exploration and Mining Association board and is a founder, President and Director of Elim Mining Limited. Mr. Antwi has a bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering from KNUST, Ghana and Masters in Mineral Economics from Colorado School of Mines.

Elaine Ellingham, Director

Ms. Ellingham is a mining executive and geologist with over 30 years of experience in the mining industry. She is a consultant providing geological and corporate finance advisory services to international clients. Ms. Ellingham spent eight years with the Toronto Stock Exchange, from 1997 to 2005, in a number of capacities including National Leader of Mining. She has a range of experience in mineral exploration, corporate development and investor relations for mining companies including Aurania Resources Ltd., IAMGOLD Corporation, Campbell Resources Inc., Rio Algom Exploration Inc. and St Joe Canada Inc. Ms. Ellingham is a former Director of Richmont Mines Inc. (acquired by Alamos in 2017) and acted as Richmont’s interim President and Chief Executive Officer in 2014. Currently, Ms. Ellingham is a Director of Alamos Gold Inc. and Almaden Minerals Ltd. and an advisor to Aston Bay.

Ms. Ellingham has a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in geology and an MBA, all from the University of Toronto.

Mark Palmer

Mr. Palmer joins Elim Mining as the Tembo Capital LLC. representative. He is a mine finance executive with 26 years of experience in the financial industry and 12 years prior directly with mining companies in Australia. In 1994, Mr. Palmer joined NM Rothschild & Sons Limited in the London mining finance team assessing mines and projects globally. In 1997, he moved to the investment banking team at UBS to focus on global mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing in the mining sector. Mr. Palmer ran the EMEA mining team at UBS for 8 years. In 2014, he joined Canaccord Genuity as Vice Chairman responsible for the mining sector coverage, Mark joined Tembo Capital in 2015. Mr. Palmer currently sits on the board of Orion Minerals.

Mark Palmer has a B.Sc. in Mining Geology from University College Cardiff.

Thomas Boehlert

Mr. Boehlert joins Elim as the Resource Capital Funds (RCF) representative. He is a financial expert and has been a C-Suite executive at six different international public and private resource companies in the agribusiness, mining and energy sectors. Most recently, Mr. Boehlert served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Bunge Limited from 2017-2019. Prior to joining Bunge Limited, he was President, and Chief Executive Officer of First Nickel Inc. from 2011 to 2015 and Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Kinross Gold Corporation from 2006-2011. Mr. Boehlert previously worked as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Texas Genco in 2005, Direct Energy in 2004 and Sithe Energies Inc., from 2000- 2003. Prior to Sithe Energies, Mr. Boehlert was an infrastructure and energy project finance banker at Credit Suisse for 14 years. Mr. Boehlert served as a non-executive director of Harry Winston Diamond Corp. from 2009-2010 and currently also serves as Director of TMAC Resources where he is Chair on the Audit Committee.

Mr. Boehlert, ICD.D, has a BA in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University Bloomington and an MBA (Finance) from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Bob Cummings, Technical Advisor

Former Chief Geologist for ASARCO at the Sacaton Mine in the 70’s and 80’s.

Robert Cummings is an economic geologist with over 50 years of experience in the mineral industry. Early in his career he worked for Asarco Inc. in the western United States, Mexico, and Canada in base and precious metal exploration. Bob’s porphyry copper geology experience is extensive and includes being the senior geologist at the Sacaton mine from 1972 through 1981. He has always been focused on the application of geology to all aspects mine operations. In a similar position at the Mission mine Bob was responsible for major drilling programs and demonstrated problem-solving abilities in open pit and underground mine development and mine operations.

Bob has a bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering from Michigan Technological University. He did graduate work at the University of Nevada Reno and is a longtime member of the Arizona Geological Society.
